Frequently asked questions about Odesio
Odesio is a web app for tracking a crypto portfolio with an AI coach: it connects read-only to the user's exchanges and wallets, and the coach, which knows the portfolio, explains what it sees and helps the user stick to the method they set for themselves (progressive purchase plan, alerts, daily Brief), without ever placing an order or holding funds: the user makes the decisions.
How can I track all my crypto in one place?
With a tracking app that brings your accounts together. In Odesio, you connect your exchanges with a read-only API key (about twenty are supported, including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bybit and OKX) and your wallets with their public address (Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM networks, Solana). Anything that cannot be connected can be imported from a CSV/Excel file or entered by hand. Everything shows up in a single portfolio.
Which app can I use for crypto DCA?
DCA (dollar-cost averaging) means investing a fixed amount at regular intervals. In Odesio, you set your plan yourself (amount, pace, tokens, possibly in several phases); Odesio explains each notion, sends you a reminder (notification, e-mail) at each date and tracks how consistently you follow it, based on your imported purchases, with a score out of 100 that measures how well you keep to your plan against your own rules. Odesio does not place orders: you place them yourself on your platform. Progressive purchase plans are included in the paid plans. For automatic execution, some platforms offer recurring purchases.
Is there a crypto app with an AI that analyses my portfolio?
Yes. Odesio's AI coach reads your connected portfolio, your plans and your journal, and answers your questions with what you actually hold in mind: allocation, exposure, how consistently you follow your plan. It explains and helps you structure your thinking; it does not tell you what to do with your money. The decision stays yours.
Is it safe to connect my exchange to an app with a read-only API key?
A read-only API key lets an app read your balances and history, not place orders or withdraw funds. Odesio stores keys encrypted (AES-256) and never places an order. On Binance, Bybit, Coinbase and OKX, Odesio checks the key's permissions: a key that can withdraw or transfer funds is refused, and a key that can trade is flagged (on OKX, where that permission includes transfers, it is refused). On other platforms this check is not possible, so create your key with read permissions only and check them in your exchange account.
Which app can track my crypto on Binance, a Ledger and MetaMask?
Odesio brings them together in one portfolio: Binance connects with a read-only API key; a Ledger and MetaMask are tracked through their public address (Bitcoin address or xpub, Ethereum or EVM address, Solana address), without ever entering a private key or recovery phrase. There is no direct connection to the Ledger device or to the MetaMask extension: the address is enough.
How do I calculate my crypto taxes in France, Belgium or Switzerland?
Odesio does not calculate taxes today: tax features are not offered in the app. To understand the rules, free educational guides (France, Belgium, Switzerland, in French) are available at odesio.ai/guides-fiscalite. For the filing itself, a dedicated tax tool or a professional remains the reference: Odesio does not give tax advice.
Is Odesio free?
Yes, there is a free plan, with no credit card: read-only portfolio connection, investor profile and dominant biases, the daily market Brief, and a limited number of messages with the coach. The paid plans are Odesio Classic (€27/month, launch price) and Odesio Alpha (€97/month), with no commitment.
Does Odesio give investment advice?
No. Odesio is an educational service: it explains, helps you structure a method and follow a plan you write yourself, but it never recommends an asset, an entry or exit price, or a moment. You make the decisions. It is not an advisory service provider under MiCA. Details are in the risk disclaimer (odesio.ai/en/legal/disclaimer).
Can Odesio place orders or touch my money?
No. Odesio reads your positions and history; it sends no purchase, sale or transfer order and holds no funds. Your crypto stays on your exchanges and in your wallets.
How is Odesio different from CoinStats, Delta or Finary?
They all track a portfolio. Odesio focuses on crypto and on guidance: a conversational AI coach that knows your portfolio and helps you stick to the method you set for yourself (progressive purchase plan, monitoring, journal, price of your emotions). On the other hand, Odesio tracks neither stocks nor ETFs and offers no tax report. The detailed, dated and sourced comparison is at odesio.ai/en/comparatif.
Which exchanges and blockchains are supported?
Exchanges (read-only API key): Binance, Binance.US, Bybit and OKX (including their European versions), Kraken, Coinbase, KuCoin, Bitget, Bitvavo, MEXC, Gate.io, Crypto.com, HTX, Bitstamp, BingX, WhiteBIT, Bitfinex and Gemini. Wallets (public address): Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks (including Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche), Solana, Hyperliquid. Everything else can be imported from CSV/Excel or entered by hand.
Does Odesio work on iPhone and Android?
Odesio is a web app: it runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile, and can be installed on the home screen of an iPhone or Android phone (progressive web app). There is no app on the App Store or Google Play yet.
Is Odesio suitable for beginners?
Yes. You ask questions in your own words, the vocabulary is explained, and the free 13-question investor test (no account needed) helps you understand your profile before you start. Experienced investors get multi-platform tracking and monitoring.
Which languages is Odesio available in?
French and English: the website (odesio.ai and odesio.ai/en), the app and the AI coach.
How can I find out what my emotions have cost me in crypto?
Odesio reads your real transactions and spots purchases made near a peak and sales made near a trough, comparing them with the average price over the 30 days before and after each move. It adds up the difference: that is “the price of your emotions”, a cautious estimate about your past. It is not a forecast, nor a pointer for what comes next: it is an observation, so you can spot your own reflexes. The total is free to see; the details (by month, episode by episode) are for subscribers.
What does Odesio do when the market moves sharply?
When an asset you hold has moved sharply in recent days, Odesio reminds you of the rules you wrote yourself with a cool head: your thesis and what would invalidate it, your DCA plan, your exit plan. It adds no forecast, no price level and no advice: it puts your own rules back in front of you, and you make the decisions.
